How can I reach Bir in Himachal Pradesh? : Get directions 
You can reach Bir via Train, Bus, or Car.
If you want to travel by train, you need to book a seat from Delhi to Pathankot. It takes about 15 hours from there you can ride on a Toy Train, which will take you to Baijnath.
You can take a Bus or car to Bir (Ttibetan colony);
Delhi – Chandigarh – Amb – Kangra – Palampur – Baijnath – Bir Road – Bir.
Mcleodganj to Bir: 70km takes 2 hours from Dharamshala.
Mcleodganj – Dharamshala – Palampur – Baijnath – Bir Billing.
Manali to Bir is 160km from Bir, and it takes 5 hours to reach Bir from Manali. And the best route from Manali to Bir is Manali – Kullu – Mandi – Joginder Nagar – Chauntra – Bir Road – Bir

Is Paragliding open in Bir Billing?
Paragliding is open in Bir, from September to June. And only close for two months July and August due to heavy rain.
October to December is the best time to visit Bir:-

While paragliding is open year-round, it’s closed during the monsoon season, and many businesses in Bir are shut down during this time as well.
But after monsoon Foreigners flock to Bir Billing to experience the world’s second-highest paragliding site from October to December when the weather is perfect for flying. Another advantage of visiting during this time is that you’ll avoid the crowds, allowing you to enjoy the serene and peaceful surroundings of Bir.
If you’re unable to visit during the fall season, you can still visit from May to June during the holidays. However, the weather conditions for paragliding may not be as ideal as they are after the monsoon season. But you can still experience paragliding these days and get the experience of swimming in the local river…
Is Paragliding Safe?

Your Paragliding provider should have licence, experience, and their gear should be working. Paragliding is ban for those who don’t follow rules and after mishappening in Bir Billing, Paragliding association become more strict about your safety and experience.
The 2nd one is site, no doubt Bir Billing is founded as the world’s 2nd highest paragliding site. With its ideal climate, paragliding is completely safe in Bir Billing, making it a popular destination for adventure enthusiasts.
I really feel its take-off site is long enough to run and it’s landing is so wide, the reason behind organizing the Pre-World Cup in 2015 and the Accuracy Cup in the last month of 2023 in Bir Billing.

Trek Bir To Billing and then fly is the best itinerary:
Day1, After reaching Bir, you can stay at a cozy homestay for the night. Early in the morning, freshen up and order breakfast. During the trek, you can even fit in bungee jumping if you have time, but be sure to discuss it with your guide first.
