Hey I'm Aniket Rana,
I’m passionate about paragliding and mountains, and my journey began with a childhood dream. I did paragliding course in Bir Billing, a place that feels like home in the sky. In 2021, I took a glider for the first time, and after nine solo flights, I worked my way up to tandem paragliding. The experience has been life-changing, and I’m excited to share the thrill of flying with others.

I had a very nice experience with Paramountains School of Paragliding. First of all, Aniket Bhai was very helpful in guiding me through the course structure, arrival, and finding accommodation. I had a pleasant stay near the landing spot. The instructors are really experienced. During the first five days of ground training, they helped me understand how to open the glider and how to handle and control it. A tandem flight with Guruji—a well-known instructor at Bir—gave me the confidence that I could actually do this sport. Then, during my solo flights, the instructors gave commands through walkie-talkie, and it was a wonderful experience up in the air. I really enjoyed the solo flying. I did my P3 Paragliding pilot course recently. I was scrolling through options on the internet and came across Paramountains. I got in touch with one Aniket who was prompt to answer my queries and later also arranged for my accommodation for the duration of the course. I was very happy with my accommodation. I had an attached kitchenette which made my long stay really comfy. The instructors also had a good experience of flying and knew their stuff. Only downside for me was that the instructors were rude and quite unforgiving towards making mistakes. But I think that comes from them being in a sport which has zero room for error. Minus that, I had an amazing time for the entire duration of my course. And, can I fly now! Yes, I can 🤟
